The port finish perfectly fits our bourbon’s taste profile, adding just the right layer of richness. Angel's Envy is always an interesting and sought after release, after the initial maturation in American oak barrels, it is then treated to the 'Scotch touch' and transferred to port barrels for 3 to 6 months. ANGEL’S ENVY is what happens when 200 years of bourbon tradition meet an independent master craftsman’s instinct to improve.

As we tasted our bourbon, a Port finish really seemed like it would fit our bourbon’s flavor profile perfectly. The result is a marriage of the sweetness of virgin oak with the dark, complex, and sticky wine flavours of the port. A ground-breaking way of finishing bourbon, this Kentucky straight bourbon takes a leaf or two out of Scotch whisky’s book and spends between three and six months being finished in port barrels. And then there’s divine inspiration painstakingly crafted into a spirit so sublime you’ll want to share it with the world.Angel’s Envy spends up to 18 months finishing in Caribbean rum casks, resulting in an immensely complex Whiskey.
